locate stud to put hndl outside door of 2001 Bounder 37k

Question

I can not find a stud beside entry door on MH. Need solid wood or aluminum to anchor door handle for balance.

Also where is the generator located the exhaust comes out under drivers seat. Gen is not there.

OK, what MH do you have? DP, Gas, sounds like it is a DP if the gen exhaust if on the drivers side.  Have you had this MH long?  Do you have the Manufactures information?

If the framing is steel (likely), a magnet will tell you where the structure is.

If the overnight dew point and temperature conditions are right the exterior sidewalls will condensate in the open areas while where there are internal wall supports behind the skin it will be dry.

I don't have detail knowledge of 2001 Bounder 37K with regards to getting the generator to slide out from the front end. It's behind the lower front panel between the headlights.
