- n7bsnExplorerWhat frame builder? But honestly 99% of the time they are someplace around the steering wheel.
- Big_KatunaExplorer IIMake? My Ford was on the engine near the left valve cover. Back then location was not standardized.
- rockylarsonExplorerShould be within 3 ft of the steering wheel and maybe behind a panel:
OBD Standard Location - KrustyNomad IIIf it is a Ford chassis, they did not become OBD2 until the 99 model year. The OBD1 connector should be in the engine compartment above the radiator
- Lt46Explorer IIIf a Ford, remove engine cover, look in,left side, about where your right foot would be. Should be bolted to firewall with a cover on it.
- BumpyroadExplorerthe OBD on my 1999 ford chassis was high up on the steering column.

- Dutch_12078Explorer IIIf you '98 Seabreeze is Ford powered, then it's most likely built on a 1997 F53 chassis, since there were no '98's made. As others have said, the OBD1 connector is usually located on the left side of the engine compartment, just to the right of the accelerator, but inside the dog house.
