Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I like Newmar, definitely a quality built rig. Seen many units similar to the one you referring to here, but just not crazy about the east-west bed setup. Nor do I like the bed being in a slideout.
Hadn't really thought about a class B unit, like a Carriage House or Phoenix cruiser the previous poster mentioned. Now that Ford is offering their new 7.3 V8 in the E-450 chassis, I could be convinced to go to something built on that chassis, if the floorplan worked. May just have to look into that.

One the reasons we chose this model is because the bed can be utilized with the slideout closed. Most models this size have a folding mattress and the bed can't be used with the slideoout closed.
