Loose fixed step inside coach

Inside our DP front door we have 3 steps leading to the motorhome living level. The center step is loose. The stairs are enclosed in a stairwell, bolted to the coach floor. We can't find any apparent method of attachment of the individual step. Any suggestions?

Pictures of assembly may help. Any pivot point should have something that can be rebuilt with a drill and some ingenuity.

Are they supposed to move? On ours, the stairs open up to become our step well cover. I know some use this method, others have a cover that slides over the steps.

If ours aren't fully retracted they feel loose, as they aren't properly seated yet.
There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

Sorry, we just sold the LandYacht and now have an Airstream Cutter 35' diesel pusher. We were not figuring the problem was necessarily brand specific, hoped someone would have a solution before we get too destructive!
Thanks, though for the replies and reminder to update our profile!

You have to tell us what year, make, and model your coach is before anyone can help you! Someone will know the answer!
