LP still flowing to stove after turning off tank!

I have a 10.2lb LP tank on my 78 Brougham.. My wife and I smelled propane while driving today. It smells like it's coming from the stove and oven.. But the tank is off. I turned on the burner and lit ...

Did I turn it the right way? Lol thanks, yes. I'll look for a valve under the stove top. It may be residual gas in the line I suppose.. But it's still lighting after 24 hours. If I can't find a valve I will take it somewhere. It's likely just super duper old. Thanks everyone!
