Still lighting after 24 hr is NOT residual gas in line.
LP pressure is less than 0.4 psi so line pressure would drop off within seconds when valved out and you light a burner off.
The shutoff valve on tank is not closed
Light stove top burner off
Then open tank valve and then reclose
Flame should go out...........if not valve needs replaced
