MORryde Suspension Busted on 1990 Pace Arrow

We're in a 1990 Pace Arrow and our rear, front of dually, driver's side (MORryde) suspension went out last night. Rubber piece broke, we're sitting on the hard rubber stopper, and initial searches are indicating this is a pretty expensive part. Repair is no problem, but we're wondering if anyone has any alternative part suggestions? Or suggestions for ways to avoid bending the frame so we can at least get somewhere safe/conducive for the repair. (We're full-timers.) We're considering chaining it to travel from Central California to Central Oregon where we were headed. Thoughts?

Unless this trip is an absolute can't wait emergency
I would fix it before making the trip
You may compound the damage and end up with a more costly repair

Sometimes you just got to bite the bullet
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !
