NY State charges a registration ("License") fee of $70/year paid at 2 year intervals for passenger vehicles (includes motorhomes) over 6950 lbs. There is no personal property tax, but a few counties add on a $10/yr use tax and four downstate counties add on a $25/yr transportation district tax. Certainly cheap enough compared to many other states...
