I'm really close to purchasing this rv rv. I'm driving cross country for 2.5 weeks with wife and 3 young kids. I've driven large semi trucks, and towed 20' trailers, so the driving doesn't bother me. Just looking for any concerns I might be missing. Gentleman said he bought it new, it was the last 2015 left in 2016. He paid 65877 for it new + 4k for extended warranty. Not sure, do I depreciate it 1 or 2 years, since he's only owned it less than a year?!?! Any other concerns? I've checked all campsites, it will fit in any place we are staying. Thanks as always, you guys always rock!

Get yourself a Progressive EMS, and a GOOD water pressure regulator before you hit the road. A TPMS is always good to have too. Have a blast!

Low retail on that coach is 52,000. He is a PP looking for more than low retail. Might want to throw a better number at him, but, the best price is what you are happy and comfortable paying.Good luckAlso, that coach is 30' long. Hope you checked that length when you scouted your camp sites.

Make sure that the RV queen bed has access on both sides, no fun crawling over partner to go to the bathroom in the dark. Slides are nice but can have problems.

Make sure the extended warranty is transferable to a new owner. Sometimes they are not.

Remember, that what you can carry is based on weight, not room or storage areas. Thirty foot Class Cs are heavy, often with reduced Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity (OCCC). Make sure it can carry everything you want it to based on weight.

Double check the date codes on the tires. If they are older than six years, they should all be replaced no matter how good the tread looks.

I don't know how to place a value on the extended warranty.

Lots more places to go than Ca. and most places are cheaper, cleaner, better roads. We avoid CA like a plague

It is on a Ford Chassis....so...just making sure you know if it feels like loose steering and wandering AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS then you need an alignment to add more +caster. Google "E450 caster" and you will get the picture.

You have to base your research and offer on the Model year not the year he purchased it. He got a discount for buying a left over or should have and when you sell it or have an insurance claim it will be based on production year. And I believe that that unit was made early in 2015. About midway through the year Ford started putting 8000 lb hitch ratings on their 350 and 450 units. I am not sure the extended warranty is worth $3000 as you can replace almost everything in the RV except maybe the genset for that, but thats a personal thing.
