We have a Tiffin Allegro Bay Fred and have never owned a Fleetwood Discovery but I can attest to the customer service at Tiffin. We bought our coach used and 5 years old so it had no factory warranty. I had a step that would not retract and contacted my local dealer they informed me it was summer and it would be 3 weeks before the could look at my coach. A friend that owned a Phaeton told me to call the factory and see what they could do. Red Bay is 4 hours from our home so we decided to take it there. After we got there they checked out our coach and found the roof rails were cracked and they would replace them at no cost. After taking the the rails off i saw the cracks they replaced them for it was two hair line cracks that looked like from the outside was just in the paint. I asked the mechanic if that is why they replaced the rails and he said yes it could cause problems in the future it not repaired. Bottom line I have owned campers for 20 years and boat longer and have never had a company fix something I did not ask for let alone for free. All motorhomes have problems and Fleetwood may do the same thing but I am very happy with Bob Tiffin and his commitment to customer service. Oh I almost forgot they also fixed the steps and at half the labor cost my local dealer charged to change out two batteries. Remember an RV is like owning a home that experiences an earthquake every day it is on the road and it is going to break.
