It's been a while (1975) but Saddleback College in south Orange County used to have a program where for a small fee you could use their automotive technology shop to work on your own vehicles. There are other community colleges in the Orange County area. It might be worth a call. Make sure you state that you would be working on a Class A motorhome of X length. Some cities also used to have similar programs. At one time there were private businesses that would allow you to rent their shop space and tools on a daily/hourly basis but that may have gone the same way as the one hour photo lab too.
