We have a 2004 36' Bounder on a Workhorse chassis with the 8.1. More than enough engine and less maintenance cost than a DP. If your only going a year I'd look at gas also. We have never had a problem with parking anywhere and on grass camp sites the gas rigs are lighter than most DP.
