New class A Bounder

Hello, I am not new to RVing just new to motorhomes. I just traded my 37' all american sport toy hauler fifth wheel for a 2014 Fleetwood Bounder Classic 36R. Just wanted to reach out and see what comments i can get from other owners, Pro's, Con's, any advice on this particular RV.
Thanks in advance.
  • I bought a 2011 Bounder 36H in June. Counted over 150 improvements over our '05 Fleetwood Fiesta. Immediately noticed improved ride and handling. Build quality and overall looks have us wanting to go full time. Far fewer rattles. But of course we are still taking out the newer vehicle bugs and have made another 150 improvements of our own. Can't wait for next trip. Made a 3800 mile trip this summer, chassis ran great.
  • Just purchased a 2013 Bounder Classic and have't been out with her yet but next week-end we will. Any issues that people have experienced with theirs?

    We are excited!
  • I have the 2010 Bounder Classic 30T purchased new. My biggest dislike is number of rattles that I have had to chase down the last couple of years. What it has amounted to is lack of quality control. A short list of items you might check if you experience rattles, Front Grill missing 4 of the 6 screws needed to hold the grill inplace. Two of the quarter panels had the incorrect screws holding the panels in place. While driving down Interstate 20, a passing vehicle flagged me down to advise me my front quarter panel was flapping. Rattles coming from under the sink area needed the PCV pipes to be wrapped with insulation to prevent the rattling. The one I haven't been able to fix yet is under the sub-floor. Sounds like metal clanging together. I have made several modifications to it to make it a more enjoyable ride. #1 most important was the Track Bar, to prevent the sway when being passed by tractor trailers. This is a must have. Also changed out the shocks and added air bags to give it a smoother ride. And of course, added the in-motion satellite dish for the kids. Added 3M window film to refect the sun and help keep the inside of the unit significantly cooler. Other than the rattles, (some expected), we love our Bounder Classic. Hope you don't take this negatively, just a heads up of what we have experienced.
  • After years of travel trailers and a fifth wheel we bought a lightly used 2009 Bounder 32W in 2010. We've only put about 5,000 miles on it so far but overall are very happy with it.
  • We love ours. We have a 2011 36R. One major electrical problem early but nothing since. 10,000 miles and going strong. Constantly tightening cabinet door lifts but other then that very happy. Good luck!!
