New RV- need Roadside Assistance??

Coach Net has been great for us when needed. as said before, read the fine print and compare plans and services carefully!!!

Run away from the Dealer, firstly, as they'll be collecting a big chunk of those unnecessary premiums.
Make some calls, for finding out what you really have with the people in charge of your services.
Once they run out, give PPL a call for getting a Coachnet policy, which would be my recommendation.

X2 on the stuck in the mud on my own property. Big tow rig arrived within 2 hrs and pulled me out, no charge.

I wouldn't leave home without roadside assistance. In fact a few weeks ago I couldn't even leave home!!! Pulled the motorhome out of its RV garage and got stuck in the mud in our yard!!! Called my FMCA insurance number, they immediately dispatched the biggest truck you ever saw from 40 miles away. I think it could have towed our house if I had wanted it to. He came, winched out our motorhome - no charge!

not the dealer for sure, they get a huge kick back. we have CN and have used it with good service. talk to your insurer .

Like 10 forty I had a good run with Good Sam but they changed who is running it and the service changed so I went to Coach Net---Kind of embarrassing having to get pulled out of your own front yard Sundance--then explain the ruts to Mama

If you have a car, I would NOT recommend the FMCA Plan. I stuffed my car into a snow bank and when I called for assistance I was told I had an accident and that was not covered. I explained the car was not damaged and all I need was a winch out and was again told that was not covered. When I ask what was covered I was told flat tires and running out of gas. When I called Coach Net and explained what happened and if I would be covered, they assured me that is part of the coverage plan I had previously. Needless to say, FMCA was dumped and I reinstated my Coach Net plan. When I contacted FMCA about the deficiency in the plan, they investigated it and were surprised I was not covered. maybe in the future it will be a better plan with decent coverage, but that deficiency cost me $195.00 out of pocket. My Coach New renewal was $169.00 per year. A lot more expensive than FMCA, but I know I am covered. Having used Coach Net to extract my Coach from my Muddy Front yard once I feel I will be better off where I am now insured.

Personally I don't like buying long term plans from the dealer , but that's
just me .
With that Coach net has been the standard for a long time but not cheap .
Coach net today offers many more things and plan levels to be able to judge
what the dealer plan includes
If I was you I would go to the web site and look at the prices and different
plans .

Unless Ford has made a switch recently, the truck/chassis roadside assistance they include is provided by Coach-Net. There are some differences from the retail plans though.

I’m betting on Ford to provide RSA through their network of providers, until the 5 year mark which is in two years. After that, I’m going online and add RSA coverage to my Progressive insurance policy. (I used them with my previous unit, and they did OK the one time I had to use them.

Keep in mind that basically all of the RSA providers use the same tow companies as there aren’t really that many in the first place, especially if you’re out in the boonies when you need their services.
