New to the Forum and new to RV'ing (haven't camped since I was a kid with my parents and the wife never has). Wanted to take a moment introduce ourselves.

My wife Teresa and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our 2022 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 36 LA. It will be our new full time home and we are also purchasing a new 2021 Bronco Sport as our tow vehicle. The only downside to the Bronco is it needs to be towed on a trailer. We looked at the Trailblazer too which would have allowed us to flat tow (AWD) or dolly tow (2WD) but she fell in love with the Bronco ( the wife hates Jeeps).

So, my first question to you all is for those who tow a trailer, are there any/many issues regarding storage of the trailer when you are stationary?

Congratulations on your Bronco Sport. I took delivery on mine 3 weeks ago and love it. Since we downsized to a Class B we no longer tow so I can’t help you there!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your Tiffin Allegro purchase. We are 60' long as well and find most private parks have sites although some older parks may have very limited availability. Many of the newer parks are nearly all setup for big rigs, biggest issue is the older state & federal parks since many were built when a scant few big rigs were on the road. We flat tow and our setup was about half of what your dealer quoted, I do rigorously shop around for the best deals though. Here's hoping your Tiffin/Bronco combo delivers on all your expectations and that you enjoy RVing as much as we do.

Flat tow car can be a lot less than that dealer charges. A lot of CGs don't have 60' sites so you will unhook the trailer, hook it up to the car, move it, unhook it and on deparure repeat. Limited chance you will be able to park the trailer with the MH.

A 36' MH has a lot of CG options and a trailer invalidates some/many of them.

Welcome. We towed a small car trailer for years behind a 40 DP with no issues at campgrounds. But a call ahead can be really useful.

The Bronco Sport can't be flat towed or dolly towed it has to be on a full trailer. The RV dealer said for a flat towed vehicle to be fully set up with braking system it would run about $6000. I almost fell over. I can buy a trailer with brakes for half that! We do plan to put a hitch on the Bronco so we can take the trailer to a storage place when we stay somewhere long term. Otherwise we may just look for places that have a 60' pull through site. I realize that will limit where we could stay but that would be 1st preference. I won't limit myself to those only.

As to your question, it will all depend on the site you book and if you are using a tow dolly or a true flatbed trailer. I don't recall if the bronco is able to be towed on a dolly.

If it's a trailer and the site is long enough for the trailer, motorhome and bronco you're good. But that's going to be a long site and those will be harder to find.

If you are wanting to park the trailer elsewhere, then that will be a challenge as not all CG have that ability or they charge for it, this is why a flat tow-able vehicle is preferred.

If you are mostly stationary and there is a storage place available then no issues.

If you travel then there is storage or longer site, car parking etc. Not to mention loading/unloading the car and the trailer. It can get tiring rather quick. Advantage in that you can back up and no car mods required. Flat tow is much easire, requires mods and you can't back up.

Length 36+25 might be a problem in some CGs. Make sure you can tow the trailer with the car.
