This morning before my Tuesday apt, I thought I would give it a start to see if anything has changed. Really nothing has changed, but rather than just crank it after the glow plug light when off, I left the key in that position before starting and the trans light stayed lit for about 10 seconds, and then goes out. So the trans light stays lit (warning message and the icon light) before the engine is even running. Not that this helps me determine anything, but I thought I would throw it out there, it might be interesting to someone. I wonder if I can get a trouble code off the transmission somehow in that short period of time. I do not know if one is even generated.
Below are the details of the MH.
The MH is a 2104 Winnebago Journey 36M, Freightliner chassis, 6 speed Allison trans 3000 MH, Cummins ISB XT 6.7 L Turbo Charged Diesel with 360 HP, and 3,600 miles on the odometer. Not sure what else I could tell you about it. I am not a handy automotive guy.
The engine seems fine, always has (knock on wood). Even the trans seems to run fine (knock on wood again). Can't say whether the after treatment works or not. Not sure how I would know whether it is or is not working. I have not lost any engine power at all in all this.
Thanks, Tom
