Newbies looking to purchase

Hello!

My wife and I are looking at becoming first-time RVers. We have been doing lots of research and looking, and are getting a bit nervous about the many horror stories of issues developing as you are pulling off the lot in a brand new RV.

We are looking for any insight on good/bad brands. One unit that has my attention is the Thor Magnitude (or OMNI) Super-Cs. I really like the F550 platform and the RV seems to have a luxury feel. Is it all smoke and mirrors?

do a goole review on that rv, and keep searching. just me, I,d buy a used rv for my first one see what its really like. and yes new used your going to find things not perfect. and you,ll learn from the used rv, the new one comes with a warreny,not worth much. you could have a claim and your rv sits for three months or more waiting for a two dollar repair.
