I saved the Norcold trim and reused it.

Sehunter, where did you get that molding around the Samsung. It looks great

Ivylog, You may be correct startup was 2.3 and running was .7. I only ran it for about 3 hrs before I shut it down for install. Now that I have it installed it will be more difficult to plug the frig into my meter to get a exact reading when out on the road.
Anyway thanks for making me think about it.

I installed the same refrigerator in my fifth wheel back in May of this year and love it!

OP, I took the "2.3 amps during start up" to mean when the compressor started and then it would be less when running. My 21 cuft refer requires 4 amps on start up and then drops to 1 amp when running.

Here is the post on my DIY install that required removing the driver's side window as it is not a counter depth refer.

nbargolf, I bought from Home Depot and paid about $1150 and removed the Norcold and installed this myself. I disassembled them both to be able to do it by myself. I'm guessing I saved about a $1000 doing it, worth it to me.

If you don't mind me asking where did you get it done and at what cost

I am having my No-Cold replaced, the cooling unit quit, with the Samsung. I hope it turns out as nice as your installation.

Like I said 2.3 amps when cooling but didn't say .7 when idling. Hope this picture is better.
