Norcold ran on gas, now does not
Hello all,
I have a ToyWarrior, 1990, that I recently purchased. It's in really great shape, low miles, etc. I'm having fridge trouble though. When I first got it I tried to light the fridge w/ no luck. I read a few forums and YouTube and learned that I probably needed to clean the burner out. I opened it up and there was rust and an old rodent nest in the box! I disassembled as much as I could and blew the whole thing out. After many tries the burner lit and I was ecstatic. It ran continuously for 30 hours and really cooled the fridge. Here, 3 weeks later and having the RV parked as before, undriven or used as we were on a different vacation, the fridge won't ignite. I read that there might be air in the gas line and that burning the stove would help purge the lines. the stove fired right up, no air burps of any kind. I opened the burner box and blew it out again tho there was nothing in it. the igniter sparks fine and I even tried a match while my wife held the gas knob in. No luck.
Any ideas of how to proceed here? We would like to take Winnie out this coming weekend and the fridge would be nice to have.
Thanks!
