not sure of the technical term, but is this what I need?

So I got up on my roof to lube the Winegard antenna gears and such, and I noticed the cable that leads from the antenna into the roof has a "boot" or cover that has come loose. It looks like the whit...

Late bloomer,

Those boots can be replaced with a good rubberized tape or silicon tape. I'd be sure to replace the f-fitting as well. Don't be tempted to use RTV or silicon sealant from a tube. Just fyi, most sat. and cable guys won't have the boots anymore...they use a rubber grommet ahead of the fitting- these would be ok for residential but not for rv. From a former cable guy.
