On using DP air input...

I have read in these pages about using the rear air connector input with an external compressor. Or is the front one the input?

Very soon I will be replacing the eight air bags on my coach, and rather than starting the engine to air-up after each bag installation, it sounds real convenient to let a compressor air-up the system for checking for leaks. so...

1. Is the rear connector the input?
2. Do I need to change or shut off anything on the coach?
3. Does the pressure need to be regulated, or plug and let it go?
4. Your ideas?

A lot of the front ones are only output. As they have a check valve in line to prevent input.

Tow truck drivers usually use the schrader valve on the air dryer for input

Our old Country Coach rig's manual says to use the quick connect in the engine compartment.

I use both F/B to put air in my tires. The only one up Front is used when having the rig towed so the bags air up and the brakes can be released... I'd put the air to the front one.

Typically the rear valve is used to purge any water from the rear tank and ditto for the front tank. Check for a second front connection that a tow operator would use to air up for towing.

Certainly the connection to the wet tank (from dryer) would power everything up.

Other than that, Monaco would be the best source for how their air system is plumbed/where the check valves are.
