Onan HDACC High Temp Shutdown
My 10 KW Onan is shutting down after ~30 minutes of running. It does't matter if it has been at 3/4 load or no load. I don't really think it's getting that hot since the water hose while hot isn't that bad, the coolant seems to be full, and there is not change in the expansion tank level.
This is a change and last month it would run for hours at light load and just started acting up when we moved south and I wanted the AC on while driving.
I am getting a single flash code which signifies high water temp but not a code for a faulty sensor.
Unfortunelty, the genny is side mounted so access is limited to the service panel without dropping the gen set. Monday I should have an IR heat gun and that should help looking at actual temps.
Is there any thing else I should be considering before taking it to the local Onan dealer.
