Outside light cover 2008 RT 19P

I need to replace the outside light cover on my RT. It is the one outside and above the side doors. Dealer says Roadtrek has a minimum charge of $75.00 for any order. Don't know if that is true or not but they are the only dealer in the area so I have to take their word for it.

Has anyone replaced their light cover with an after market product? If so, could you give me some details of what you bought and where.

Thanks.
  • Another alternative is LED strip lighting (the weatherproof type). I've seen some that are even dimmable, which I'm considering to be able to regulate from very bright to quite dim so it's not "blinding" in the dark.
  • Manotick is not far away. I can try that if I can't find a new one to fit. Thanks.
  • Hurst Marine used to stock alot of parts and bits to fix things- river rd manotick

  • Thank you. I was so focused on replacing the lens cover that I never thought of replacing the whole thing. That may be the simplest solution. Thank you. I will try Canadian Tire first since it is nearby.
  • can you post a pic?

my PW outside light is a common type fixture used for RV's and boats....nothing special.
it is only 12 volt so doesn;t need to meet the same requirements as a 120 volt fixture.

You may also consider replacing the entire thing- cdn tire has options.

this category has replacement generic lens for under $5, or complete lights for under $12
