The story becomes so much more real when you speak to someone who was there. My friend was 13 when she saw the bombs starting to fall on Oahu, Hawaii. (She's 88 yrs. old now).
She was in school that morning and everyone ran outside to see what the commotion was all about. It was helter-skelter that day. It still brings her to tears when she tells the story.
Shocking how many people died. We have so many hero's!
