Pfister Shower Head

We have a Pfister shower head that the button that shuts off the water on the head is getting to where it doesn't work like it use to. I don't have a model number or a break down on how it comes apart. We have soak it in vinegar and sprayed with WD-40, it helps for awhile but then goes back like it is gummed up. We went on the Pfister web site with no luck. Does anyone know how it comes apart are a model number are how to fix it?
Thanks for all comments!

I did send Pfister a picture of the shower head and they said it was not one of their products. The reason I thought it was made by Pfister is because the plate where you turn the water on says Pfister also the other three faucets in the RV are made by Pfister. That being said where did you buy your Oxygenics shower head?
Also I tried soaking it, that did not make a differents.
    Thanks

Just do a search for Oxygenics shower head on the Internet. You will find numerous places that sell them including Amazon, Camping World, etc.

  • I would suggest calling Pfister Pfister Warranty as they have a lifetime warranty. They state in their warranty that you will need to send the part to them for evaluation, however when I had a problem with my kitchen faucet, I called them and they simply sent me a replacement. I didn't have to return anything to them.

Having said that I have also replaced my shower head with an Oxygenics. Gives much stronger water flow even when just using the water pump.
  • Take it off the hose, then soak it over night in Dishwasher cleaner such as Lumishine(sp)
  • Buy an Oxygenics shower head. Best 40 dollars you will ever spend.
