Planning on Using the Cab Overhead Bed? We cannot use it!

Bought a wonderful little class C today. However, when we got home we discovered neither one of us could get into the over cab bed without being a Gymnastic expert or much younger than us. First Hubbi...

I have a Skinny Mini brand 4-step folding ladder that I've used for indoor painting. I tested it this morning and it works fine for getting in and out of the overhead bed. With the rungs facing forward and me in a sitting position facing rearward, I had no trouble whatsoever getting down. I've got a 30 foot '96 Jayco Designer on a Ford E-350 chassis.
