Another tip we read here years ago, was to change the fitting for the smaller table from center to off-set. This makes the space on the table top much more adaptable. Bud says he used one of the mounting holes and then drilled a new hole where the mounting bracket landed to one side. Then when you're using the post up front with the seats, you can swing the table to one side to make walking through easier.
