Preparing for a cold night
In anticipation of temperature at night just barely expecting to reach the magic 32 deg F, what is a good strategy to avoid any pipes freezing? So far I plan to turn off the water pump and open one...

I agree with the others.
If however it's going to get really cold and I don't want to winterize because I will be traveling soon I open the cabinets like brirene, fire up the furnace and turn the water heater on. I turn the furnace off before I go to bed, just want to get some heat inside. I also close the blinds and drape a blanket off the sleeper behind the drivers seats.
