problem with slideout
after a very pleasant 10 days in New Orleans, we had a major problem with one of our slideouts. drove thru a hard rain then stopped for fuel. when I turned the ignition off and the lounge slide moved...

UPDATE...
well the problem has been located. it seems water has found its way into the slide controller located in the first bay on drivers side of unit. when the unit was turned off, it sent power to the controller and caused the slide to move out. as a result the slide motor is completely burned out. it looks like it was in a major fire! so glad that it confined itself to the motor and did not set the unit ablaze on the side of the road or at the fuel pumps. someone was looking out for us that day.
anyhow, now we wait for new motor and controller. while waiting, I will completely seal the area that leaked causing the problem.
