"New" 2013 Hurricane 32A

Poulsbo RV has a pair of 2013 32A's on their lot which are NEW. So this means they've been sitting there unsold for a year, maybe two. Would you folks be concerned about a unit that had sat for so long on a dealer's lot?

Do a thorough PDI and get promises in WRITING as stated previously. Poulsbo has a NASTY reputation for not following through on repair work. I have enough local friends who have been burned that I won't talk to them.

Although tires are maybe 2012s they have been sitting since trailers rolled onto dealers lot......

So new tires, new batteries and full mfg. warranty plus appliance warranties would need to be part of deal in writing and pricing would have to be 'out the door happy dance' range.

Dealer has loss due to them still being on the lot so YOU are in the bargain captain seat.

Ours had been sitting on dealers lot for 18 months before we took delivery. We got full warranty MH and Chassis from the day we took delivery. Only problem that we had was the batteries, all three. This was from neglect, left to discharge and freeze. They were all replaced at no charge to us.
Otherwise no other problems or concerns.

Personally, no, I would not be concerned but I would check them out with a fine-toothed comb! The deal should reflect that they are 2+ yrs. old as the 2015's have been out quite sometime now. The 2016's are just around the corner making these units 3 yrs. old.

The tires are probably dated 2012 so they have about 5 yrs. left before replacement.

As long as you go in with your eyes wide open, you should be OK.
