Radiator heater hose to hot water tank?

I guess I've got a classier rig than I thought, not only does mine have "motoraid" but it is bigger than that 6 gallon thing the Bounder we use to own had. Now we can get in one 7 minute shower with out turning on the water heater.

Just teasing some of you, we can both shower upon arrival at campsite, too bad we can't both fit in the shower at the same time though.

I think for a older gas MH this was a great idea not only to heat the water tank but also to remove engine heat. The 454's and 460's generate a lot of heat and this "motor aid" system acts like another radiator.

Yep, I have it on my Vogue, actually replaced it a number of years ago, so they are still made today.

Encounter on a John Deer chassis was not a run of the mill pusher in 1987. They made some fine motor homes back in the day. Now part of the Coachmen empire. John Deer has now become Freightlinner

I like it in mine. Also like the over the road air.

so now you know you have a high end unit. so with that comes higher repair bills.LOL. have a great day.

Atwood & Suburban call it a 'motoraid'------just a 'U' tube on backside of WH Tank. Engine coolant runs thru 'U' tube heating water thru tank wall.
Good for about 130*F

Model numbers having an 'M' in them have that feature.
Used on ALL levels of MHs

No shut off valving in coolant lines,
