I have been looking at the DX3 also and thought that the rear overhang was excessive. I did find out that the FKS floorplan has about 3 feet less overhang, but the entire coach is also 3 feet shorter. I have a 2007 Seneca 33SS and have not had issues with bottoming out with the rear overhang. However, I do use care when approaching or departing places that have inclines.
