Better check to see if there's somewhere to stay first. Campgrounds are pretty full. We reserve months in advance. Just got back form kayaking Potholes this weekend. Saw lots of wildlife.
Here's some others:
Grayland Beach State Park. If you reserve soon enough you can get a site backed up to the dunes. Huge sites. Ones by dunes are electric/water only.
Cape Disappointment. Another great one on the beach. Some sites are so close to beach they are beginning to erode and are closed during winter as surf hits them.
Sun Lakes/Dry Falls State Park (another one on dry side of state). You can stay at the resort (private concession) or for big sites stay at the state park. Fishing and a ig lake to play in. Awesome scenery, hiking, biking, etc.
