Recovering the Dog house

We recently replaced our carpets in the living room and the flooring in the kitchen / hallway in our 2006 Damon Intruder. The only area that really needs redoing now is the driving compartment. I was thinking vinyl in front of the seats but I like the idea of carpeting on the dog house. has anyone redone the dog house? How big a project is it?
  • A good installer can do it right and fairly inexpensively. Carpet will provide good insulation against sound and heat.
  • We covered ours in our 97 Holiday rambler with marine grade vinyl. Glued it down.">

We got some Rit dye and sprayed it on. It turned out well, and looked good.

is the link for the blog posting I did. You can see what the doghouse looked like before and after.
am I missing something? The picture to the right in this link says, "our home" a 41 foot Monaco, but the pictures in your replacement of the floor show a doghouse for a gas engine class A?
  • When we did our '96 Pace Arrow the fellow removed all the old pieces and used them for the template to cut the new pieces. It came out looking like new.

  • Back in the winter I replaced the flooring in my coach. I used vinyl tile in kitchen and bath area. I used carpet in living room and drivers area.Basically it was an easy process except for the dog house. I tried twice but just couldn't get it right. I went to a carpet store just up the road and spoke to owner about it.

Long story short, I took the coach to him and he had one of his installers carpet the doghouse, best $60 I ever spent.
