- whporwilExplorerI have a uncle that had his 03 Journey done at Lazy Days in Florida but he did a laminate, I'm surprised it hasn't scratched. I have a 06 Winnebago and I'd like to replace the carpet with tile but I'd like to have a heated floor. Have you thought of that?
- 2bzy2cExplorer IITile (ceramic) is very heavy and prone to cracking. Better off with
vinyl that looks like tile. Fast install, easy to clean, and weights nothing. - SoILBoyExplorerI did it on my 05 Journey. Taking carpet out of "living room" wasn't too bad. Getting it out from the driver/passenger area was tough. Winnebago used about a million gallons of extra strength adhesive to put the carpet there. I used an oscillating tool with a scraper blade in that area. Put in 12" tiles. Love it.
- ernieeExplorertile weighs about 5 pounds per square foot, FYI
- Lawgirl11ExplorerWe went to Home Depot and they recommended Allure for RV. Now I need to find someone to do it. Too big a project for us. Anyone know anyone in Minnesota?
