Removing Carpet from 2005 Winnebago Journey

Has anyone ever taken the carpet out and replaced with tile? My carpet is so hard to keep clean. Spend a lot of money to have someone clean it for only dirt to come back.

We went to Home Depot and they recommended Allure for RV. Now I need to find someone to do it. Too big a project for us. Anyone know anyone in Minnesota?

I did it on my 05 Journey. Taking carpet out of "living room" wasn't too bad. Getting it out from the driver/passenger area was tough. Winnebago used about a million gallons of extra strength adhesive to put the carpet there. I used an oscillating tool with a scraper blade in that area. Put in 12" tiles. Love it.

Tile (ceramic) is very heavy and prone to cracking. Better off with
vinyl that looks like tile. Fast install, easy to clean, and weights nothing.
My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

I have a uncle that had his 03 Journey done at Lazy Days in Florida but he did a laminate, I'm surprised it hasn't scratched. I have a 06 Winnebago and I'd like to replace the carpet with tile but I'd like to have a heated floor. Have you thought of that?
