Replace RV headlamps

I have a 2000 Dutch Star with rectangular headlamps. Is there a way to replace these with brighter (safer) headlamps, either HID or LED? Does anyone have a specific product they can refer to?

What is your coach, and how much of an improvement was it? Did you use LED or HID?
  • Look at this site . You may need better lights but you may also
need to up grade to relays .
Relays can provide more voltage to the lights and they are explained
    here .

  • Don't fall for the brighter is safer lie either. Flooding everything in front of the RV with light adds extra information to process and also diminishing response from the rod receptors in your eyes responsible for night vision.

Do you have a fancy gps, or always on phone screen, maybe the dash lights set for maximum brightness or camera monitor always on? All of these diminish visibility at night by interfering with rod receptors.

    Just something else to consider.

Well, at this point, it's dangerous driving in the dark.

Is yours a Dutch Star as well? Mine are not perfectly rectangular. They have an angle at the end.
