- jeeperdude10ExplorerNo, actually took the valences out....What a difference, it seemed to OPEN up (looked like cabin was enlarged). While traveling the blinds are up, no bingy bingy, but when stopped pull down. We have the windows tinted, so no biggy. We are completely satisfied-serves our purpose, and look good at the same time.
- SablukaExplorerThanks.
Sounds like a plan then.
Just need to get two valence units re-upholstered. Victims of overly excited Border Collie HA!
Happy Trails this season.

Yes, they cut them to size at Lowes while I waited, fit perfectly. - ronfishermanModerator

Our shades fit into original valance with a small modification on side panels. Needed to cut off 1" from front face of side panel that fits inside top valance. This mod cannot be seen when side panels are installed. - SablukaExplorerdowntheroad, jeepdude, 4k-ranch & ron,

RR - ronfishermanModeratorWe replaced our shades last fall with slow roller shades. Purchased them from Shade-Man.com. Could not be happier with how they work. We now use shades daily instead of leaving them down because of the pain it was to use pleated shades. Product is similar to MCD.
- 4K-RanchExplorerReplaced ours with Levelors cellular from Lowes Custom Size Now by Levolor little pricey but very good.
sorry clicky did not come out right

This online store has form to fill out that takes the exiting RV valence into account. Then they custom build it. They have remote control ones also for RVs.
