Replacing a fridge

I've often wondered the same thing myself. Especially with diesel pushers.

Usually though one of the side windows holes after window removal. Also will need to remove frig doors.

The take them out a side window if big enough or out the front window if needed. Keep in mind a standard residential fridge last on average 10-15 years and can be repaired easily in most cases. We love the residential Fridge in our Newmar it is so great to have that room. we can run it 48 hours on the batteries. Coach does not have to be level to get or stay cold. Safe Travels

I got a samsung rf197 and they took the doors off and in thru a side window. It took six guys. Three inside and three outside. Only an inch of clearance

A lot depends on the Motor Home.. Things that will not fit through my door can, often, fit through my escape windows, which in my case are re-closeable.

Not all are designed that way.

Just had a Norcold 1200 replaced with a Fisher & Paykel counter depth french door model and both went through the entry door once the doors were off the fridges. Didn't even have to remove the captain's chairs.

Many MH's have outside access ports so the compressor can be changed without even pulling it out. If they have to be replaced it's either the door, the side window or the front window.

Ours was through the front windshield. Easy in and easy out. Build an extra couple hundred bucks into the equation. In our case we were replacing it anyway so it was no extra. The windshield guys passed it through the window.

This would be my guess.

I replaced my propane fridge myself and took it out the door. Fridge was small enough. Double door propane fridge's go out a window.
