Which vinyl trim? If you are talking about the screw channel cover vinyl - the answer is extremely easy. I just replaced about 120 feet of it.
Yes I think that's it. It is about 1/2 inch wide and fits inside the metal piece around the door and along the side. Do you need to lubricate it or heat it to get it to slide in easier?
