Residential Fridge

How critical is it to level our coach with this fridge? Is leveling less critical that using a traditional fridge (gas absorbtion)?

Thanks
  • If you have the door opening by itself and things falling out it's best to keep the residential as level as possible. It's not good to get to far off since the compressor pump has refrigerant and oil in them just like any A/C. This oil can and does once in awhile get mixed with the refrigerant and will cause the fridge to stop cooling.
  • Level is really not important with a household fridge. There is an actual compressor that is pumping the coolant so no need for gravity return or area where fluids can pool.

Yea, but at least the spilled ice won't burn up your motorhome.

  • Not nearly as important as when using a traditional RV fridge.
