ROOF Vent Fan

I have a new to me Newmar MountainAire and love it. Year is 2003. The vent fan over the bathroom does not go on either on battery or electric. Any ideas to try to get it going? Would it be a 12V or 120 V fuse/Circuit Breaker to check? Taking a trip and would like it. NOT a Fantastic Fan but would like it to evacuate the steam from showers etc.
  • 12 volt only. Maybe bad motor. Unhook wires and check voltage with power on.
  • AH, I do not do electricity so will have someone else check it for me.
Thanks, for replying so fast. I was thinking maybe a circuit breaker or fuse.
  • My '03 had 2 switches on the wall. One was for the light and the other the fan. I miss my MA.

The motor is likely shot.. Now I could give you my opinion of those vent fans but.. Alas.. I don't really like using that kind of language (Sad grin). so I will tell you what I did.

I got 4 4" "Computer" fans (Actually I got either 10 or 12 for 10 bucks when last in Quartsite) and wired them in aparallel. I set 'em on wood spacewr (A couple of craft sticks thick works nicely) so they don't rub the screen.. Far more air flow, Much less noise, and they work. Also less electronic noise since the computer fans are "Brushless".
  • Thump it a few times. Probably not a bad motor, probably a bad connection, wiring, or switch.
