Heading to Virginia Beach, VA traveling along HWY 58 from NC headed East. On HWY 58, there is a Toll Tunnel...Midtown Tunnel I think it's called...in Norfolk. I really don't want to go through that ...

Coming east on 58, it will take less time to get to the Beach if you Don't use the tunnel, so the bypass is the best route even if there were no toll for sure.
