Any info on route 54 from Wichita to I40 in New Mexico. Trying to bypass Colorado Springs heading East. Thanks McD

- I'm curious why you want to avoid Colorado Springs. Is their traffic that bad?
- Isn't Wichita to New Mexico WEST?? I have driven that road, it is a good route.
- Yes I described it west because I couldn't remember the name of the town on 40. Just trying to get home to Massachusetts faster. Been in Colorado Springs before. Thanks for the help McD
- Took 54 in July from Wichita and found it one of the better roads of that trip from MI to AZ
