rpm sweet spot on class A with 365hp v10 for mpg?

I'm in the process of buying a new to me 2008 Georgetown 36' ds350. After driving it i noticed that it is a high revving engine. No problem. But very different from my diesel. I'm curious. For those ...

"4th" gear is actually two different ratios, that are not not used sequentially. So yes, the TorqueShift is actually a a 6-speed even though it only uses 5 at a time.
