rv storeage.

Is it advisable to use ones leveling jacks when storeing your M/H. I've gotten about a 50-50 split on this question. Some owners say it's the way they do it .Others say ''NO''. Use the plastic blocks that are made to go under the tires to keep them off the ground. These blocks don't make sense to me. They get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Since I'm not sure about either, I thought I'd ask some folks who might. Thanks in advance.
  • How long do you plan to store it? How heavy is your rig? What kind of tires do you have? Do you expect a lot of sunshine, heat or cold to affect them? How about rain or other moisture? What is the surface you are parking on? And most importantly, is the spot level or do you need a lot of leveling from the jacks or blocks?
  • All I can say is the owner's manual for my Spartan chassis says to use the jacks when storing the coach. Not my opinion - the manufacturer's.
