Anita, if you can drive the motorhome and put your car in the trailer, it seems to me that you could take your time and move the motorhome to Florida yourself. There are a lot of parks that have pull-through sites, just call ahead to find out.
You might could have a friend ride along with you for the company and then fly them home. Apparently you used to travel by motorhome, give it a try.
