Shower Cover - Double ?

You can get the skylight from Camping World, just need the correct measurement. I think mine was around $40. You will need butyl tape which will go under the skylight. I Used eternabond tape along the sides and ends.

Take your AC covers off and put 2 layers of fiberglass material and resin on the inside and they should last a long time mine are going on 13 years.

I just had mine replaced with new Tuff/Maxx Replacement Shrouds. The old original ones were so brittle that I thought they might come apart going down the road.

We also replaced our vent covers as they were brittle and had small cracks starting. You will want to closely inspect all of the covers up top and how well they are sealed.

I looked on line at "Bri Rus" domes (about 85 bucks ), others, etc. Finally called Fleetwood, the dome is 60, the putty tape is 12, the Alpha sealant is 10, and shipping puts it around 105, bout the same amt if I bought the Bri Rus dome. Fleetwood of course recommended the atlas sealant for the atlas roof and to use the dome they have with the putty tape. I may be a sucker but bought it.

I just pd 10 bucks for a tube of Dicor thinking I'd get the brirus dome, so guess I'll keep it and use it on my trailer and stick with the Atlas sealant for my RV roof. I WAY over analyze this stuff, but piece of mind using what Fleetwood recommended is worth a couple of bucks. I guess.

Its a double pane separated by a chamber to act as insulation. Without the chamber, the sun would heat things up real fast.

This is just a problem of the sun doing the damage. The more sun it gets the quicker it will happen to any platic panel up on the roof. With the double pieces it will trap heat between and you have the result. I guess we need the extra light in the showers to see when we are clean. I hope they never quit making the plastic bubbles for the time I may need one.
