slide maintanace
have 2 slides on my Coachman leprechaun. I have seen slide spray to keep the slide running smoother as well was spray for the seals. Are all of these actually needed or are they just marketing sales tactics.

- Check the owner's manual for your slides. Ours says the only maintenance needed is to check the rails clear of debris.
-Michael - I used the spray on my slide gears. It stuck so well that it stuck a small rock to the gear teeth causing the rock to break the gear when it meshed with the drive gears. That would not have happen if I didn't use the spray. Never used it again with no more problems.
- It is very beneficial to maintain your slide-outs to avoid future water damage, drafts and overall mechanical issues.
