Slide Out Nylon

This piece of nylon was laying on the ground after the slide was extended. It is three by one and a quarter inches and one quarter inch thick. It looks like it is broke off from a bigger piece. I believe it is part of the slide but can’t see where it goes. This is on a Phaeton, living room slide!
Thanks for all comments.

If you are unable to find the part let me know I could make one I would just need the dimensions or a sample. I machine a lot of plastic.

If HWH slide, I believe the part you need is page 46 Part 10. Doug

I did not catch you said living room slide. Is this slide a HWH Hydraulic slide? Most Phaetons, the front drivers Living room slide is electric and the Pass side is hydraulic. But, they do have Hydraulic on the drivers side. Which slide do you have? Electric or Hydraulic? It makes a difference. If Hydraulic, that nylon is from HWH, if Electric, then Tiffin is the supplier. Doug

The two front slides are both hydraulic.

Then the part is HWH. The Nylon glides are installed inside the tube rails and keep the steel tubes from having metal on metal contac. The inner tube rides on that nylon glide. Doug

You can buy the stuff by the lineal foot from Farm Tek in any thickness you want. I buy it in 15 foot rolls myself. Alro Steel (plastics Division) also retails it.

There are 2 of those. Yes, it is a nylon grade slide and they are on each bottom corner and the bottom corners glide on those glides. If you send a pic to Tiffin with your year/Model Phaeton, they will be able to sell you both glides. It comes with those glides and ther metal square block they mount into. They may send them to you free. You MUST lift the room up about 3/4 inch(yes it will raise that much with the correct lift) to install those glides. They are installed from the outside and if you pull the bottom wipe seal down on the other corner you will see the other one and where it goes. Doug

Ultra

Lift the carpet on the slide room and look. Mine were near each corner screwed to the main floor. Tap plastics or a similar plastic supplier you should be able to find a rem to cut to size.
